What's in a North Little Rock Arrest Record
A North Little Rock arrest record typically shows the date, time, and location of the arrest, the subject's name and demographic info, the arresting officer, and the charges filed. Mugshots may be attached when the booking goes to the Pulaski County jail. Charges carry statute citations. Classifications show misdemeanor or felony status.
Incident reports and arrest reports are two different documents. The incident report describes what happened. The arrest report focuses on the booking and charges. Both are public records under FOIA with some exemptions. Some NLRPD reports are released the next business day. Others, tied to pending investigations, wait until the case is cleared.
NLRPD handles fingerprinting for civilian purposes through its Records Section. The department processes and enters arrest data into both internal systems and the North Little Rock District Court computer system. Traffic citations also flow into the District Court system.
Criminal probation in North Little Rock has its own procedures. After sentencing, the defendant signs up in person when leaving the courtroom. Requirements include consent to warrantless search, signing off on conditions, filling out probation and reporting forms, and making a $45.00 first payment. Monthly reports come with $35.00 payments. Missed reports can trigger a warrant, which cycles back through the Warrants Unit.
North Little Rock Arrest Records Fees and Methods
NLRPD Records charges reproduction fees in line with the FOIA. Costs vary by report type. Accident reports carry a small fee. Incident and arrest reports may be free for the immediate subject but carry a copy charge for third parties. Email requests are accepted through the FOIA portal. In-person pickup is also available during business hours.
For a certified copy, add a small fee. Certified copies carry the department seal and are needed for out-of-state or federal agency purposes. Walk-ins during records hours are the fastest path. Mail requests take longer but work when you can't visit in person.
